On April 26, 2022, the XV Anniversary International Navigation Forum, the Navitech exposition, as well as the Sphere Congress, which was held with the support of the Roscosmos State Corporation, took place at Expocentre Fairgrounds on Krasnaya Presnya.
This year, the Sphere Congress was held for the second time. He brought together events dedicated to the implementation of the federal project "Integrated Development of space information technologies "Sphere", the development of domestic satellite navigation systems, satellite communications with global coverage and remote sensing of the Earth.
The XV International Navigation Forum is the central event of this year in the Russian Federation and the EAEU countries in the field of commercial use of satellite navigation technologies, a promising platform for dialogue between experts, business representatives and developers, as well as an effective opportunity to demonstrate their own achievements.
This year 1,500 people from 6 countries of the world have registered for the Forum. More than 75 speakers made their presentations within the Forum sections, key players of the navigation and related technologies market presented their developments and solutions.
The plenary session was opened by Dmitry Olegovich Rogozin, Director General of the Roscosmos State Corporation. In his welcoming speech to the Congress participants, he stressed the importance of this project for our country.
"A country so huge and large, with a large number of time zones, needs to be connected by modern means of communication, space communications, broadband Internet access."
The Sphere project is designed to accelerate the technological development of the Russian Federation, create a modern communication and monitoring system that includes both existing and prospective space infrastructure.

The discussion of the market of innovative transport technologies "Autonet" also this year did not go unnoticed. Over the past few years, we have been witnessing the active development of the Autonet market all over the world. A full-fledged ecosystem of consumers and service providers, systems and modern vehicles is being formed on the basis of intelligent platforms, networks and infrastructure in the logistics of people and things.
In the framework of the discussion club "Autonet", headed by the president of NP "GLONASS" and co-head of the working group of NTI "Autonet" Alexander Gurko, invited experts discussed the digital breakthrough of transport technologies of the future, unmanned, connected and electric transport.
"Since connected transport, self-driving and electric cars are a long-term trend, today we have new opportunities to adapt and refocus."
Cities are growing, digitalization covers all spheres of life, and time is becoming the most valuable resource. Leading industry experts shared how the introduction of innovative solutions in the field of urban mobility and ITS help to save this valuable resource at the session innovative opportunities for "smart mobility", ITS 2.0 solutions and services.
Also, within the framework of the International Navigation Forum and the Sphere Congress, sections devoted to space technologies, satellite communications, remote sensing of the Earth, geoinformation systems and services, satellite navigation and navigation digital technologies were held.
In addition to reports and discussion events, the Forum hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding the annual award of the Association "GLONASS/GNSS Forum" in the field of navigation.
